Media and Conferencing Specialist

Role Overview:

The Media and Conferencing Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all audio-visual systems and solutions within the organization. This role requires a combination of years of experience, technical expertise and creativity to support a dedicated media room for live broadcasts, live company events, manage conference room technologies, and contribute to collaborative projects.
This candidate will support all live media events and will be required to travel to any regional headquarters when necessary.
This is a remote position; however you may be required to be onsite at our Frisco, TX office on as-needed basis. We will only consider candidates who are a commutable distance to Frisco or Dallas and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role:

• Design, build and manage the construction of an in-house media studio, including space design and technical requirements.
• Maintain in-house media studio and lead live broadcasts to news outlets
• Operate studio equipment and stream live events internally within McAfee and externally with other media outlets.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms and other conferencing technologies.
• Provide training and support on the use of audio-visual equipment and conferencing systems.
• Produce and support live-streamed events, ensuring high-quality audio and video production.
• Manage the scheduling and technical aspects of webinars and virtual meetings.
• Research and recommend new technologies and hardware to enhance the media and conferencing capabilities of the organization.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences.
• Procure necessary studio components and manage inventory.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in media production and conferencing solutions.
• Be able to bring in the right personnel to support an event when necessary
• Analyze feedback and usage data to improve the media and conferencing services continuously.

About You:

• 10+ years of experience with audio-visual technology.
• Proven experience in AV/IT support roles focusing on media production and live event support.
• Strong technical skills with audio-visual equipment, streaming platforms, and conferencing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
