Walmart Connect is hiring a Director of Campaign Management to drive growth in Walmart's advertising business. In this role you will be an end-to-end owner of developing and executing marketing plans in support of client needs and expectations. And working across multiple teams within Connect to build strategies, plans and best practices to deliver business results.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Preparation, implementation and management of digital media campaigns, oversight of team that manages numerous campaigns and works with creative, sales, analytics, and clients to develop and manage project timelines
  • Identify roles/responsibilities and key stakeholders and develop of ways of working within a matrix organization
  • Strong troubleshooting skill and oversight of the implementation and integration of new emerging tools and/or technologies that will enable Walmart Connect to work effectively and efficiently as an organization
  • Role includes client-facing activities, and must be able to be articulate in meetings, representing media operations capabilities and issues as it relates to ad serving and data enablement
  • Requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The individual is expected to be resourceful and demonstrate the initiative to participate in advanced projects
  • Media knowledge: detailed understanding of assessing target audiences, media planning and buying techniques, and evaluation of media performance
  • Tight collaboration with internal teams inclusive of sales, account management, and yield

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Experience with campaign fulfillment and programmatic operations across a portfolio of products
  • Experience managing large teams through periods of rapid growth and navigating ambiguity
  • Knowledge of Retail Media Networks
  • Experience working across multi-functional team (sales, account management, business operations, yield, optimization) and leading projects through problem identification to resolution
  • Manage campaign timelines and deliverables across internal and external teams
  • Basic knowledge of advertising KPIs: CPC, CTR, ROAS, Conversion Rate, etc.
  • Implement, QA, and troubleshoot ad campaigns
  • Understand systems integrations and implications both upstream and downstream
  • Document best practices and seek out opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Knowledge and experience working with CRM, order management systems, ad servers, DSPs, BI platforms and other related advertising tools and systems
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and, at times, challenging environment
  • 7+ years of media/ad ops/digital industry experience
  • 3 + years of leading large teams through foundational building of process to mature operational execution

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SalesForce, Google Ad Manager, Tableau, or other enterprise Ad systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Machine Learning models
  • Experience working in and across large cross-functional organizations
