Medical Assistant – Colorectal Clinic
Mercy South Clinics | 10012 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Type:Â Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? At Mercy South’s Colorectal Clinic, you’ll be an essential part of a dedicated care team, working side-by-side with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to support patients through every step of their journey with dignity, respect, and excellence, core values that define Mercy’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients, take vital signs, assist with procedures and EKGs
- Perform point-of-care testing, medication reconciliation, and administer injections
- Maintain and prep instruments, stock exam rooms, and manage documentation
- Communicate with physicians/APPs and support scheduling and medical record requests
- Follow OSHA standards, PPE protocols, and uphold patient confidentiality
Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
