Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Position Summary

As a member of the care team the Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Hybrid both clinical care and front desk administrative service to patients in a medical office setting. Duties include but are not limited to clinical, administrative and clerical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, intake of medical history and medications, registration duties, scheduling appointments, insurance verification and customer service.

Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Position Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Medical Assistant certification from an approved Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • At least one year of administrative/customer service experience required.
  • Previous experience in a health care environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with an electronic health record preferred.

Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, Day Shift

Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Benefits 

  • At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 80 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 40 hours per pay period are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $16.72 - $23.41  Commensurate with experience
