Job Summary

The Meeting Specialist plays a key role in implementing and executing stakeholder goals to attendee event experiences, enabling OneAmerica to grow and build distribution partner relationships and associate engagement. Collaborating with a broad range of teams, including business strategy leads, communications, product teams, sales, operations and creative teams.

Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Plan and execute event and suite experiences that are on budget, on time and elevate attendee experiences.
• Collaborate with other planners in preparing and executing strategic event and suite experiences.
• Leverage and align operations from event to event to create consistent attendee experiences.
• Guide and recommend hotel, offsite venues and activities that create meaningful attendee experiences.
• Continuously improve event capabilities to enhance attendee experiences, efficiency, and loyalty.
• Collaborate and interact with all areas and levels within the company as well as with vendors to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

• H.S Diploma

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

• BA/BS in Event Management, Hospitality or related experience

Required Work Experience

• At least 2+ years of experience with corporate event management
• Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 04A

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
