Member of Design Staff - Engineer

We are seeking a talented design-focused Frontend Engineer to help us craft exceptional user interfaces and push the boundaries of our AI-driven products. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing user experiences that are both functional and visually stunning working closely with cross-functional teams including designers engineers and product managers.

What you’ll do

• Design & Development Process: You will be involved in the design and development process throughout the product development lifecycle—from gathering requirements to ideating designing and implementing highly interactive and responsive UI components.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with designers and product managers to ensure that design concepts are executed flawlessly. You will help bring design implementations to life ensuring high-quality implementations that meet both technical and user-centric requirements.

• Drive UX & UI Excellence: Focus on delivering an outstanding user experience by designing intuitive and polished interfaces. You will continuously iterate on features to enhance performance accessibility and usability based on user feedback and data-driven insights.

• Enhance Design Systems: Contribute to and expand design systems in collaboration with designers ensuring that UI components are scalable reusable and consistent across the platform.

• Mentorship & Advocacy: Help elevate the design culture within the organization by mentoring product design team members through technical challenges and advocating for design excellence across all product areas.

• Proactive Feature Development: Craft and iterate on new and existing product features from concept to code collaborating closely with teams to align on product vision ensuring each feature drives user engagement and conversion.

• Stay Current with Emerging Technologies: Keep a pulse on new technologies and best practices in front-end development and UX design discovering hidden opportunities to innovate within our environment.

What you’ll need

• 3+ Years of Experience: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative and iterative development environment.

• Strong React Expertise: Advanced knowledge of React.js JavaScript/Typescript and CSS. Familiarity with state management systems like Redux is a plus.

• UX & Design Mastery: A deep understanding of the UX design process and strategy. You have a keen eye for detail a passion for crafting delightful user experiences and experience working with tools like Figma for prototyping and design.

• Creative & Analytical Thinker: You are a problem solver who considers the user’s perspective in every decision crafting elegant solutions that enhance the user journey.

• Hands-on Front End Developer: You thrive on implementing your own designs and confidently bring Figma mockups to life. You're passionate about micro-interactions performance and creating UIs that are both functional and captivating.

• Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with diverse teams. You’re able to provide clear and constructive feedback in both code reviews and design critiques.

The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.

Lastly the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions there may be a change in the range which again will be communicated to candidates.

Salary range: $220000-270000
