Must be able to be in the office 3 days a week - 156 William Street; NY, NY
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health care services
- Examine and diagnose patients with mental health conditions
- Counsel and educate patients and families about conditions
- Formulate treatment plans using evidence based therapies and pharmacotherapy if indicated
- Coordination of care with specialists and other ancillary services
- Completes all clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in and opine on cases presented in multi-disciplinary case rounds
- Provide subject matter expertise and input for mental health policy development in support of WTC Health Program
- Lead the provision of mental health services in clinic and via Telehealth
- Perform all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Demonstrate ability to maintain productive working relationships with team members, other internal and external customers, and management team
- Leans and maintains an in-depth knowledge of all facets of WTC Health Program, including the Zadroga Act, policies and procedures, codebooks and processes, as well as Optum processes, policies, and procedures. Ensures compliance with government regulation, business policies, and Program standards

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practioner
- Active and unrestricted NYS license
- 5+ years clinical experience
- 2+ years leadership experience
- Experience using online references and accessing professional (clinical and regulatory) internet sites
- Computer and typing proficiency, including MS office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proven ability to prescribe and provide care without supervision
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in the office 3 days a week - 156 William St.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in coverage determinations (prior authorizations)
- Experience in workforce modeling
- Managed care background
- Demonstrates proficiency in utilization of Electronic Health Record (EHR)
*All employees working hybrid will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's hybrid Policy
The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
