Microservices Application Architect

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
* Architectural Design: Develop scalable and modular application architectures that align with business requirements and best practices.
* Technical Leadership: Provide comprehensive technical guidance and serve as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.
* Cloud Integration: Create cloud migration strategies define delivery architectures and develop migration plans for transitioning applications to cloud environments.
* Microservices Development: Design and lead the development of robust scalable and maintainable microservices.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with development leads system analysts and other team members to define requirements and system designs.
* Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies offering thought leadership and mentorship to technical teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience: 8+ years of software development experience particularly with Java Spring Boot Kubernetes.
* Cloud and Microservices: Proven experience in architecting and developing cloud-native applications including APIs and microservices on containers experience with Microsoft Azure AKS Azure Blob storage Redis Azure events.
* Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for version control.
* Database Management: Experience in database design PostgreSQL.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to various business audiences.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React.
* Experience with DevOps tools Implementing and deploying applications using DevOps practices to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
