We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) Mission Assurance Analytics and Tools team.

The Associate Director of MA Analytics & Tools is responsible for the execution of MA Analytics & Tools strategy and operational direction for a team of 8 geographically dispersed, remote individuals.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Works within RI&S Engineering & Mission Assurance organization to develop, maintain and support Mission Assurance applications through understanding business processes and their implications and applying process improvement concepts for process redesign
• Represents RI&S MA in enterprise/corporate initiatives and in work with RI&S Operations and Supply Chain and Digital Technology. Acts as business contact and advocates for delivery of high-quality services
• Responsible for programming, configuring and testing both new applications and legacy systems, which requires knowledge of systems architecture development processes for improved design, as well as understanding of systems integration for applications.
• Leads the analysis, modeling, and explanation of data to produce analytical results.
• Develops standards, policies, software, and procedures for the development of analytical results and predictive models
• Defines and executes useful analyses to solve problems
• Optimizes the performance of data systems by discovering, cleaning, and utilizing appropriate data from enterprise systems. Creates testing and validation methodologies and criteria
• Develops data/information and model quality metrics
• Conducts extensive investigation to understand the root cause of complex problems.
• Researches new technologies and develops business cases to support their use.
• Identifies data trends, generates insights and comes to business conclusions.
• Supports strategic decision making across the organization
• Communicates with parties within and outside of own organization, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors
• Leads projects, setting scope, schedules, and priorities
• Works to influence others to accept views/practices and agrees/ accepts new concepts, practices, and approaches. Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization
• May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function

U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems and may require U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance for future assignments.

Required Skills:

• 12 years of experience in Data Analytics, Mission Assurance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Management and leadership experience to lead cross-department project teams
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communications skills - including the ability to present and articulate complex technical capabilities and insights to internal and external customers
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency, strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to collaborate with program cross-functional team members to develop practical solutions to complex problems.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with RTX tools: PRISM, RCAS, Stages
• Experience with commercial tools and languages: Tableau, PowerBI, Python, Visual Studio, SQL Server, TOAD, .Net, JIRA and SAP
• R6S or CORE Certification
• Agile experience or certification
• Self-starter with a natural curiosity to investigate details and drive deliverables to completion

Required Education:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. May have an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience.

Travel: Occasional travel to U.S.-based sites may be required.

This position requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

The salary range for this role is $129,000.00 to $265,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
