Job Description

Americaneagle.com is seeking qualified candidates with strong design and motion graphics skills to fill the Motion & Visual Designer position within our Chicago (Des Plaines, IL) office. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for developing motion graphics and creating visual assets for advertising, promotion, and online presence purposes. In this position, you will be working as part of the larger internal marketing team focusing on projects such as branded videos, sales materials, email graphics, sales presentations, social media graphics, and more. Responsibilities: • Conceptualize and storyboard motion graphic projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives • Creation of visual elements including illustrations and animate them to produce engaging motion graphics • Incorporating typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content • Creation of marketing assets including but not limited to, branded videos, sales materials, tradeshow & event graphics, email graphics, sales presentations, social media graphics, and more • Contribute to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and delivering projects on time Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in a motion and design related role • Strong foundation in graphic and visual design • Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, video editing, and overall visual design • Proficiency in the following software: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro), PowerPoint • Preferred experience with Cinema 4D or related software, along with Figma • Working knowledge of user interface (UI), user experience (UX), and customer experience (CX) best practices and able to stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in the field • Understanding of digital and print production processes • Able to tell a cohesive story through animation • Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with excellent collaboration abilities for both team and individual work • Self-motivated, creative thinker with strategic marketing and business expertise, capable of taking charge of projects from start to finish Americaneagle.com provides its employees with an energetic work environment and opportunities to further develop their skills. The US-based salary range for this full-time position is $60,000-$80,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
