PURPOSE: The MRO Associates in the Supply Management Indirect Procurement Group are the first people to see, review, and correct purchase requisition forms for indirect materials and are the primary point of contact with outside suppliers. This person will also resolve issues from receiving and from Accounts Payable as they arise.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Review purchase requisitions in SAP, modify as necessary and convert to purchase orders.
• Resolve issues and discrepancies to ensure the correct and timely delivery of indirect materials.
• Communicate and interface with suppliers internal/external departments to resolve issues.
• Support Manager Indirect Procurement, Senior Buyers, and Sourcing Specialist in development of strategic activities.
• Administrative assistance and support to the Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Sourcing Specialist.
• Identify and implement process improvements both inside and outside of Supply Management.
• Represent buyers to ensure timely and accurate information is obtained and communicated internally/externally.
• Assist in processing Supplier Information Sheets and related information.
• Maintain/update supplier quality documentation, supplier change and spec. revisions.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in SAP, especially as it relates to purchasing activities.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have excellent phone communication skills.
• Ability to maintain neat and accurate records.
• Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with Lincoln Electric personnel from multiple departments and multiple Lincoln Electric North American sites.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to describe problems in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent attendance record.
• High school diploma or GED
