The Job

As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you'll be part of our Supply Chain team working as a virtual employee. You'll get to:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of global category strategies for Specialty MRO in Americas.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to gather insights, requirements, and feedback to ensure the effective execution of category strategies.
• Analyzing and identifying opportunities for productivity improvements Year over Year savings on a spend category.
• Navigating multiple ERP and procurement systems to establish a comprehensive spend baseline for the Specialty MRO category.
• Supporting the consolidation of the supply base by collecting data, bundling purchases, and implementing effective contract management techniques to reduce the number of suppliers from 1,000+ to a select pool of preferred vendors.
• Assisting in supplier selection and participating in negotiations within the Americas.
• Contributing to the creation of visual management dashboards for monitoring and reporting on performance within the Specialty MRO space.
• Building and maintaining sustainable business partnerships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.

The Person

• A Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
• Fluent in English language, Advanced in Spanish language, due to the need to interact in Americas
• +3 years of strategic sourcing with experience driving change within matrixed organizations
• +3 years of experience in Chemicals/Paint/Coatings / Adhesives/Epoxy/Filters Lubricants MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations)
• Proven experience developing and implementing category strategies in a large matrixed organization
• +2 years Hands on procurement experience inside manufacture environment
• Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex commercial contracts
• Proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques, tools, and supplier management
• Proficiency in driving value through SKU rationalization
• Need a strong understanding of manufacture/engineer processes and procedures that affect sourcing strategies and constraints.
