AlertMedia is seeking a Multimedia Content Manager to join our Corporate Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a business-oriented content creator and storyteller who is passionate about producing both traditional and non-traditional content, such as podcasts, webinars, videos, conference presentations, and more.Â
In this role, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to lead production of The Employee Safety Podcast and AlertMedia’s webinar program. You’ll also contribute to other content that helps build brand awareness, generate leads, and advance our audience’s understanding of issues that impact employee safety. Â
The candidate should have a familiarity with B2B podcasts, writing and presentation samples, experience developing compelling stories and presentations, and a desire to learn new skills related to content production. This role will report to the Director of Content & Communications.Â
Who you are:Â
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated content creator who is passionate about non-traditional storytelling via online and offline mediums, including podcasts and webinars as well as virtual and live events. The ideal candidate is someone with hands-on podcast and webinar production experience, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work within our Corporate Marketing team, which is responsible for delivering a wide range of content for both internal and external audiences. As Multimedia Content Manager, you’ll lead the production of podcast episodes, from researching potential guests to staging final episodes. Additionally, you will craft presentations and programming for AlertMedia’s webinar program as well as virtual/live events—including our annual Employee Safety Conference—while working alongside a wide range of collaborators across the Marketing team and beyond.Â
What you get to do every day:Â
- Research and pitch episode and guest ideas for The Employee Safety PodcastÂ
- Prepare detailed internal guest briefs for the show’s hostÂ
- Lead all podcast-related meetings, recordings, strategy, and productionÂ
- Write and develop podcast collateral including episode titles, descriptions, YouTube video outlines, and more Â
- Collaborate with AlertMedia’s social media manager to best represent each episode on our social channelsÂ
- Liaise with agencies, freelancers, and internal marketers to ensure deadlines are metÂ
- Own and manage the podcast queue and databaseÂ
- Ensure a positive and seamless guest experience for all podcast guestsÂ
- Write abstracts and outlines, develop presentations, and prep speakers for webinarsÂ
- Represent AlertMedia’s brand and build relationships with customers, prospects, subject matter experts, and influencersÂ
- Assist with the production of live and virtual event content, including our annual Employee Safety Conference
- Assist on other marketing communications projects, as assignedÂ
What you bring to the role:Â
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in content creation and project managementÂ
- Hands-on podcast and webinar production experience preferredÂ
- Impeccable attention to detailÂ
- Exceptional writing, communication, and research skillsÂ
- Comfort and confidence with representing our brand in a public-facing roleÂ
- Mastery of presentation development and Microsoft PowerPoint Â
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams to source, develop, and execute ideas based on multiple inputsÂ
- A flexible, team-first collaborator who is willing to both give and receive constructive feedbackÂ
- A goal-oriented individual who approaches projects with a positive, inquisitive mindsetÂ
- A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and willingness to work cross-functionally within the team as neededÂ
- A desire to learn new content production skills such as audio engineering or video editing (prior experience is a plus)Â
- This is a hybrid position based in Austin, Texas. Must reside in Austin or surrounding areas.
