MUSIC DIRECTOR

Passion City Church

OBJECTIVE

A creative, positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who supports, anchors, and advances the musical capacity and quality of Passion City Church while modeling initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play keys on Sundays and mid-week events
• Direct and coach bands in a live gathering on Sunday and mid-week events
• Develop tracks for mid-week events, programming, arrangements as directed
• Inject creativity into the music development process
• Maintain and implement all keys/tracks rigs
• Assist in scoring video / live projects as directed
• Support the worship / creative team as needed
• Communicate with production worship needs
• Identify and raise up additional keys players, music directors, and playback operators

Director of Music

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

Has 5+ years of experience playing keys and music directing with touring level bands. Individual must be well acquainted with the sound of modern worship music and a master of Ableton, MainStage, Logic Pro X or ProTools, and any other relevant software. Undergraduate or Graduate level music education is a plus.
