We have an opportunity for a NetSuite Engineer to join our team, based in our Boston office.

This hands-on role will suit someone who is passionate about technology with extensive NetSuite experience, and who is looking to make a significant contribution to our business.  The role will be an integral part of our Information Technology and Finance teams, working closely with global counterparts from different functional areas in our business. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Oversee general NetSuite Administration functions; monitor the integrated system platform to ensure real time accuracy and integrity of information
• Implement NetSuite ERP customizations;  review current customizations and native NetSuite configuration to support the evolution of Catapult’s dynamic business model (i.e., design, implement and document processes to automate operational and financial needs within the ERP system)
• Work with various departments to Integrate NetSuite with various technology platforms;  monitor Integrations and resolve issues that arise (i.e., Salesforce)
• Develop and maintain custom NetSuite applications, including design tools and the e-commerce platform
• Develop customizations from concepts of needed requirements, advise of best practices, refine and then administer solutions.
• Test and coordinate NetSuite upgrades
• Build and improve Saved Searches and Reports for company user-base, and develop custom business logic using Workflow (SuiteFlow) and Javascript (SuiteScript)
• Partner with Operations, Sales, HR, BI and Finance Departments to support general reporting needs and customization requests.
• Provide user support for the applications; monitor Help Desk, resolve or escalate tickets
• Maintain employee records to support approval structure
• Utilize various languages and frameworks; including PHP, JAVASCRIPT, SWIFT, SQL and shell scripting, etc.
• Be a cross-functional partner with other Catapult teams to train and support new hires within the ERP.
• Advise on industry leading best practices to best support company ERP objectives

• Minimum 5 years of NetSuite management experience. Computer Science related degree preferred
• High level business process and analytical skills; ability to quickly assess business needs, develop innovative plans to solve the problems and implement plans
• Ability to communicate with both non-technical and technical stakeholders
• Project management and process documentation experience; proven track record in time management and prioritization of projects
• Strong understanding of NetSuite and ERP concepts including the functional areas of; Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounting to Close, Advanced Revenue Management, Call to Resolution, Design to Build and Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience with Workflows, Advanced Saved Searches, SuiteScript 2.0, HTML, deploying and scheduling scripts
• Understanding of Distribution, Inventory Commitment and Allocation, Third Party Logistics
• Understanding of mandatory segments, customfields and their impact on downstream data integrations, and reporting
• Understanding and experience of how upstream Integrations impact downstream systems
• Experience with complex system environments involving integrations to other business applications
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite as “Superuser”
• General accounting understanding
• Experience with Celigo, Zendesk, Shopify, Salesforce, Stripe, Jira and BambooHR a plus
• Advanced PDF customization
• Experience with large scale data extract, transform, and load (ETL) and imports to NetSuite
