Business Applications Senior Support Manager

What You Will Be Doing

The Netsuite Support position at ChargePoint, Inc. is an opportunity for a seasoned business applications support administrator to make a significant contribution to ChargePoint's growth and maturation.  In this role, you will share responsibility for application support and administration of Netsuite, expanding to include other applications like Coupa, Salesforce and integrations amongst the separate applications. 

You will focus on Level 2 activities, supporting complex business processes that require both technical and business insight. You will also perform administrative duties such as adding user accounts to business applications, resetting passwords and other routine tasks when escalated from Level 1, but this is not a focus.  Patience and a helpful attitude are crucial to success in this role.

This position would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and has experience in working effectively with and providing world-class service to customers.   This hands-on support role requires strong technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with both your technical colleagues and your business customers.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • A solid understanding of the NetSuite tool set and how to leverage it to solve business problems
  • A desire to be helpful to and educate business users in effective use of the applications
  • An understanding of the importance of applications support in making the entire BizApps organization, and therefore the company, more productive and successful
  • An orientation toward problem solving and the tenacity to keep after the tough ones, but also the humility to know when to ask for help
  • An eye for identifying patterns and proposing root cause solutions to recurring issues
  • Good judgement in triaging help requests and prioritizing those with greatest impact
  • The flexibility to work a range of issues from user provisioning to complex enhancements
  • A bias toward collaboration and teamwork, both within BizApps and across departmental boundaries, along with the confidence to work independently when needed
  • Great documentation skills
  • Note - this opportunity is open to remote work
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience with Netsuite in a support or business analyst role
  • Two or more years of experience developing and supporting business applications using Agile methodology
  • Netsuite proficiency in the following subject areas:
    • Set-up, customization, navigation
    • Roles, permissions and audit
    • Custom forms logic creation, modification
    • Advanced search and reporting
    • Dashboards (creation based on roles, publishing, modifications)
    • CSV uploads and mass updates
    • Item setup and basic inventory management
    • Sales order processing
    • Data management
  • Solid conceptual grasp of business processes: Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, Accounting/Financial and Manufacturing Operations
  • Working knowledge of Netsuite customization tools – scripting, work flows, fields, lists and forms
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Patience, aplomb under fire, helpfulness
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
  • On call responsibilities as needed

  • Experience with:
    • Mulesoft
    • Arena
    • Coupa
    • Salesforce apps
  • Netsuite Certifications
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
