Your Role and Responsibilities
As a N/W Engineer you will be administering and supporting hybrid networks within the product portfolio worked upon by the team. You should have a solid understanding of OS primarily Linux Federated Domains Domain Controller Networking topologies and administration as well as daily system admin activities alongside maintaining of shell scripts (bash). The ideal candidate should have around 5-8 Years of Total experience with 4+ years’ experience in Network Administration/Operations involving Networking devices and technologies with deep understanding of key differentiating technologies including

• Hands on experience with Protocols Network Layers N/W administration and maintaining of infrastructure as code Cloud infrastructure and complex topologies
• Experience with **IX scripting (bash/zsh awk sed tcl/tck) using Linux/**IX as a day-to-day Dev/Operational platform.
• Mandatory experience with UNIX and exposure to working on Forests/Federated domain experience S/W Firewalls maintenance of SDN would be preferred
• Knowledge of Network Switches (e.g. Cisco x7xxx) Network performance Audits and Security compliance.
• Establishment of services (Network hardening) and assisting with application benchmarking.
• Maintaining compliant posture in adherence with IBM standards and practices.
• Working with development teams to debug functional/application issues.
• Interfacing with associated compliance tools and providing proof of execution documentation where applicable.
• Performing required scanning health-checking and logging where required.
