We are currently seeking a Network and Systems Senior Specialist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

The candidate will work with teams to define a transition plan and overall architecture to support the migration from IPv4-based to IPv6-based networks and analyze the current state and requirements of networks, systems, and services in transitioning to IPv6.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.
  • Implement network protocols and provide complex LAN/WAN infrastructure support.
  • Responsible for taking care of the network equipment including routers and switches.
  • Should provide technical assistance to recover any critical network function.
  • Troubleshooting and resolutions of complex routing tasks .
  • Have a high level of knowledge of network, development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Offer recommendations and solutions in the areas of design as well.
  • Follow and define processes for the environment including an extensive change management process.
  • Participate in the on call rotation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Secret security clearance required
  • Minimum 6 years of routing and switching experience, to include:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco routers and switches, circuit provisioning experience, and analysis of packet captures for the purposes of troubleshooting
    • Minimum 5 years of IPv4/IPv6 protocol experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of IP Networking including routing, switching, TCP/IP, IP subnetting, load balancing, traffic optimization, performance monitoring, Cisco IOS, BGP, EIGRP, ACL's, HSRP, MPLS, SNMP, SFTP, SSH, STP, hierarchical NTP design, TACACS, RADIUS, VLAN trunking, and various VPN technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of QoS, IPsec, vPC's, Nexus NX-OS, VRF's, various network admin and monitoring tools, Firewalls, Blade Enclosure Networking in a virtual environment, load balancing, and wireless solutions.
  • General understanding of IPV6, Cisco SDWAN, Wireless, and ISE.
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and data gathering skills

Candidates for this position will be required to adhere to NTT DATA's and its clients' COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is Min: $91,800 - Max: $137,800. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
