As the Network Engineer, you will assist in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and management of resources required for network systems of moderate complexity, including LANs, WANs, Telephone Conference ("Telco"), Video Conference, Voice over IP ("VoIP"), and Cloud (AWS/Azure) technologies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement global enterprise networks, configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation to fulfill business objectives and processes.
  • Design and deploy the company's Local-Area Networks ("LANs"), Wide-Area Networks ("WANs"), and wireless networks, including routers, switches, and other hardware. This includes Disaster Recovery solutions.
  • Provide support and maintaining hardware and software components of voice solutions, including unified communications manager and voice gateways.
  • Contribute to network planning, architecture design and engineering.
  • Design and implement new unified communications solutions, from the delivery of the components through configuration of hardware, installation and configuration of software and implementation.
  • Integrate and schematically depict communication architecture, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.
  • Conduct research on/evaluate network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
  • Support cloud networks related to Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshooting problem areas as needed. Fine tune and improve wherever possible. Collaborate with management and department leaders to assess near and long-term network capacity needs.
  • Perform network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, related documentation and technical specifications. This includes creating documentation related to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related area
  • 5 years of experience in Networking administration and engineering including the following: Cisco, Meraki, Cloud AWS/Azure, F5 Load Balancing, SolarWinds, Office Suite (Visio required)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with stakeholders in a variety of levels and business units.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts: Infrastructure, Ecommerce, Applications
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. This includes working with remote management/team members.

Compensation Range: 

$130,000.00-$130,000.00
