Design, implement, maintain, troubleshoot AES data networks and systems, including firewalls, security appliances, switches, routers, and all network infrastructure related devices and tools.

Provides technical support assistance to the other IT infrastructure areas.

Update and maintain network documentation.

Recommend proactive changes to current and future network configurations.

Provide network support for all AES locations, including any remote interconnected sites.

Diagnostics and resolution of network problems.

Ensure the network and communications infrastructure is maintained within company policy.

Perform testing and analysis of all elements associated with network facilities.

Review, design, plan, evaluate, and install network systems.

Provide tactical input on overall network, security and capacity planning, and related projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with networking and telecommunication systems
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data network protocols, including ARP, DHCP, HTTP, SNMP, and TCP, and protocol analysis tools, including TCPDump and Wireshark
  • Experience with advanced telecommunications, including LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls, SD-WAN, data communications, and connectivity
  • Experience managing firewall rules, policies, objects, VPNs and encryption
  • Experience working with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, and Multicast technologies
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, English required with Spanish and Portuguese a plus
  • Knowledge of Cisco catalyst and Nexus switches
  • Knowledge of Layer 2 LAN switching, VLAN, Spanning tree, HSRP/VRRP, EtherChannels/Link Aggregation
  • Familiarity Networking Scripting/Automation
  • Familiarity with Cisco ISE
  • Familiarity SIP, VOIP, and Cisco Call Manager

Additional Qualifications

Configuration, implementation, and maintenance firewalls, routers and switches, SD-WAN, Wireless, ACS, load balancers

Experience with advanced server operating systems based on Linux, UNIX, or Windows Server platform

Experience with Industrial Control Systems networks / OT

Experience supporting Cloud IaaS

Network monitoring, performance analysis and fault / problem management

Experience with development using Python, Ruby, or Perl

GPEN, CCNP, CCIE, GWAPT, GNFA, GXPN, GREM, OSCP, OSCE, or related certification preferred
