Network Engineer

Job Description:

• Network Infrastructure Testing: Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Redundancy/HA and Security Services: Familiarity with Redundancy/HA configurations in linux(corosync/pacemaker) and networks (hsrp) and network security protocols.
• Virtualization: Knowledge of server virtualization and cluster/Fault tolerence management, particularly with VMware and virtualization platforms.
• Storage Area Networks (SAN)& Backups : Experience with Fibre Channel switches and NAS devices and backup technology like Bacula.
• Time Synchronization: Understanding of GPS-based time synchronization and network time protocols.
• DMZ Configuration and Security: Experience with managing DMZ networks and securing external-facing services.
• Remote Access and Device Management: Familiarity with terminal servers and remote management tools for network infrastructure.
• Other Tools: Wazuh and Zabbix will be an added advantage for patch management, health monitoring, log analysis, etc.
• [optional] Power and Automation Controls: Knowledge of protective relay systems and automation in industrial networks.
