Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Network L3 you are expected to work on IT functions such as design analysis evaluation testing debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting the company infrastructure business processes and operations and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. Analyzes installs acquires modifies and supports operating systems database or utilities software. Plans conducts and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions. Analyzes designs acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans designs acquires and implements telecommunications voice/wire systemsYou will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Will be part of Escalation team and will be responsible for managing country wide customer escalation
• Plan and lead the execution of a comprehensive deployment plan including work planning scheduling budgeting metrics training pilots and resources.
• Collaborate with all project teams to ensure alignment between all deployment-related activities.
• Liaising with the customer technical representatives.
• Provide recommendations to client on deployment of new features.
• Ability to create HLD/LLD
• Implement the changes as applicable test the changes and handover to customer.
• Troubleshoot issues with Network Deployment.
• Troubleshooting critical incidents and problem tickets.
• Identify potential failures and recommend solution..
• Expertise of BGP VTP Vxlan MPLS IS-IS OSPF VPLS VPLS. HSRP VRF AAA GRE tunnels SD-WAN ACI QOS etc.
• Hands-on experience on ASR and Nexus devices.
• Good understanding of LAN and WAN
• Experience of leading the technical team. Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• L3 Network Engineer with 8 – 10 years’ experience
• Good To Have Skills: No Technology Specialization.
• Should have supported Network deployments.
• Should have 6 years of experience in Network operational support/management roles.
• Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on SD WAN LAN segmentation Cisco Switches Cisco Wireless Access Points Cisco Wireless Controllers Cisco Routers Firewalls Fortinet Checkpoint Cisco Riverbed Bandwidth Optimizers F5 Load Balancers NetScaler and BlueCoat.
• Maintain design of LAN/WAN including protocols and routing.
• Identify potential failures and recommend solution.
• Update knowledge base with known errors.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
• Flexible to work in 24×7 Shifts.
• Good understanding of procedures application and concepts within own subject area and understanding them in the context of the business.
• Up to date and relevant ITIL certification
• At least one mid-Level certification relevant to CoE – Ex – CCNP for networks
• Good to have scripting knowledge such as Python PERL
• Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing and Switching (CCNA-R/S)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate – Wireless (CCNA-WL)
• CCSE (Checkpoint)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security (CCNP-SEC)
• Juniper Certifications
• Meraki Certifications
