Network Operations Engineer

Do you perform network infrastructure deployments, and troubleshoot complex issues? Do you turn up new routers, and, switches, and IPsec tunnels in a  global enterprise infrastructure? If so then you can be Fivesky’s next Network Operations Engineer

Who you are:

• You deploy network infrastructures related to new connectivity and site expansions.
• a networking expert who has rolled out Cisco routers and Arista switches, created site-to-site VPN connections 
• Worked within DMZs with a variety of existing services and applications. 
• Troubleshoot Routing/Switching issues with, networking, and routing protocols.
• Use your strong knowledge of Wireshark to decode packet captures and identify network and application issues.
• Be the point of escalation for production outages.

What you have done:

• Worked in a large complex environment utilizing your knowledge of data networking principles and specific technologies.
• Provided hardware assistance with Cisco and Arista.
• Used your recent experience with ethernet technologies like Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VXlan, trunking, channeling, and multilayer switching in a professional environment.
• Worked with MPLS, OSPF, BGP, iBGP, eBGP, and Route Reflectors.
• Lived in the TCP Stack.

Would be awesome if you had:

• Worked with SD-Wans within the enterprise environment
• Had RIP, PIM, IGMP, and MSDP experience
• Visio
• PowerPoint
• Unix
• DMVPN
• Multicasting
• Python, Perl, or Shell  scripting for automation
