We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nocturnist Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our renowned Medical Intensivist team. In this role, you will be supported by dedicated leadership and clinical teams, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver patient-centered care.

As integral part of our interdisciplinary team, this role allows the motivated and experienced nurse practitioner to work at the top of their license. This position is structured to offer the best balance of autonomy and support while caring for patients in the Medical, Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro – intensive care units.  Enjoy the professional satisfaction of practicing independently with the comfort of knowing your Intensivist partner is in house and available to support you when needed.

Position Highlights:

• Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
• Shift: Nights (6 PM - 6 AM)
• Role: First call provider for ICUs, managing cross-cover rounds, responding to rapid responses, assisting with new admissions, and performing bedside procedures.
• Environment: State-of-the-art 800-bed acute care facility
• Technology: Epic EMR

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume ICU, with preference for nocturnist roles.
• Must have completed the Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) course through the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
• Proven ability to work independently as the first call provider during night shifts.
• Proficiency in placing central lines and arterial lines.
