Job Description

Position OverviewEnsures that the evaluation of Vascular Lab procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. Customers served include UHSH employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.

Primary Department or Work Location:

Noninvasive Vascular Lab, UHS Wilson Medical Center

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$33.63 ‐ $50.45 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Associate degree in Applied Science in vascular technology or similar modality
  • Knowledge of cross‐sectional anatomy, hemodynamics as well as color flow doppler principles.


License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • Registered or Registry eligible by the ARDMS or CCI as a registered vascular technologist (RVT).
  • Staff who are Registry eligible are required to successfully pass the Registry exam achieving "Active Registry Status" within one year from the date of hire.

Preferred:

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
