Job Title:Staff Accountant – Non-Profit
Location:100% Onsite – Jacksonville, FL 32233
Employment Type:Direct Hire
Salary Range:$55,000 – $60,000 annually
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-drivenStaff Accountantto join our non-profit team. This full-time, onsite position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization’s fiscal health. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withQuickBooks Onlineand a passion for supporting community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budget tracking
• Support annual audit and tax preparation processes
• Maintain compliance with non-profit accounting standards and grant reporting requirements
• Collaborate with program and development teams to ensure accurate financial documentation
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits tracking
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to the organization’s mission
Pay Details:$50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
