Job Description Summary
The Supply Chain Data Analyst provides analytical support associated with 'Demand through fulfillment' process while providing analytical expertise and support across the North American Supply Chain (NASC) organization. In addition, identifies process improvement across the supply chain and provide customer demand insights to BD's various Business Unit Demand Planning Teams.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Demand Planning and Analytics within North American Supply Chain Relations; the Supply Chain Analyst will provide critical data support and create key analytical tools to aid business growth, the decision-making process and delivery key customer insights around demand. In addition, this individual will play an active role in various cross-functional integration initiatives and projects. This role will design and manage "actionable" supply chain reporting at the executive, strategic and customer levels including the implementation of key performance indicators and metric dashboards

Responsibilities
- Generation of established daily, weekly and monthly analytical reports currently used by the NASC organization
- Identify business challenges and devise innovative data analytical tools/methods to solve complex problems
- Be a reliable source in providing data to be used in various Supply Chain initiatives and day-to-day operational activities that make an immediate impact on the bottom line
- Responsible for monitoring and resolving tasks in the Valuecentric maintenance bin
- Participate in Supply Chain analytics and reporting discussions with various supply chain functions to capture the necessary data requirements used to model current business processes
- Develop and implement Supply Chain metrics/dashboard that brings focus on key performance indicators
- Work multi-functionally within Supply chain operation to resolve issues and ensure a great experience for every customer
- Develop predictive analytical models, dashboards, and tools for use within the Supply chain operation functions
- Drive collaborative "action" through the reporting and analysis
- Provide analytical support to various supply chain projects within the supply chain operation functions as well as the broader business
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three years of work experience with Supply Chain Analytics, Decision Support and Data Management,
COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI, QlikView, SAP's Business Intelligence
- Analytical capability/skills to analyze and report data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
- Strong Customer focus, multi-functional collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data using key Excel formulas (i.e., vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
- Knowledge of change management concepts and the ability to apply them
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fully proficient in MS Office; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent organization skills with particular attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload based on business need
- Self-driven and able to work independently with little supervision.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Management, Statistics, or Business (or equivalent) is required
CERTIFICATIONS:
- CPIM preferred
