Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the operational management of our Endoscopy Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in endoscopy procedures and a proven track record of managing high-volume healthcare settings. This role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, patient flow, compliance, quality improvement, and staff management to maintain our Center of Excellence designation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Endoscopy Center, ensuring efficiency and high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and administrative leadership to optimize patient flow, scheduling, and departmental productivity.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Coordinate performance improvement (PI) and quality assurance (QA) measures to ensure continuous improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between the Endoscopy Center and hospital administration to align departmental goals with broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required). Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the District of Columbia.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience, with 1-2 years in leadership roles within endoscopy or related specialty.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
