OB/GYN Hospitalist (Nocturnist) – St. Charles Health System – Bend, Oregon

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist (Nocturnist) to provide expert inpatient care during overnight shifts at our state-of-the-art Bend Family Birthing Center. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver meaningful, hands-on care while enjoying the balance and beauty of life in Central Oregon.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide overnight inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care for both assigned and unassigned patients
  • Assist with cesarean deliveries upon request from community physicians
  • Collaborate closely with certified nurse midwives and manage high-risk obstetric cases
  • Serve as a consultant for ED presentations and medically complex inpatient cases
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EMR (Epic)

Your Schedule & Location:

  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Minimum of 144 shifts annually
  • Based at St. Charles Medical Center – Bend
  • Back-up call may be requested during periods of high census

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
  • Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Oregon
  • Current DEA and BLS certification
