OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Port Jefferson, NY - Work/Life Balance, 7 shifts a month Full-Time

Position: OB Hospitalist - Full-Time/Part-time

Hospital: St. Charles Medical Hospital

Location: Port Jefferson, NY

Facility Overview:

• NICU Level: II, Contracted Island Neonatology

• Total Hospital Deliveries (annually): 1,700

• MFM onsite? Yes – Thursday and Friday, Medical Suite Office

• Residency Program & Type? Yes – Phys & Rehab, Dentistry

• In-house Anesthesia? Yes 24/7 -Dedicated obstetric anesthesiologists and spinal/epidural analgesia for labor and c-sections

• OB/GYN Excellence Award three consecutive years), the Labor and Delivery Excellence Award (six consecutive years), and the 2020 Gynecologic Surgery Excellence Award

Responsibilities (Location specific):

• OBHG Hospitalists are responsible for all unassigned patients and any OB/GYN emergencies

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time: 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

• Part-Time: 2 to 4 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
