Tennis Trainee

Are you a hard-working and focused individual who is interested in a career in sports? The Trainee position will provide you with hands-on experience in the day-to-day management of professional athletes and events.  Throughout the course of the trainee program, you will assist with a variety of projects and tasks related to tennis, pickleball, motorsports and speaking.  The position is based in our Mclean office and is a paid limited-term position for a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Who we’re looking for:

• You have outstanding written and verbal communications skills
• You are resourceful, with a proven track record of an intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving
• You have excellent organizational skills
• You’re able to multi-task proficiently and meet strict deadlines
• You are great at working both with a team and independently
• You’re proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and market research tools
• Knowledge of sports is a plus

The work you’ll do…

• Assist with various client servicing assignments, including visa applications, travel arrangements, coordinating overall client needs
• Assist with business development projects, including researching potential endorsements, industry trends and other assigned projects
• Assist with tennis division hospitality projects
• Provide administrative support with duties such as responding to internal and external general inquires, working on legal and creative requests, handling shipping among other tasks
• Assist with updating client bios, client recruitment and sponsor presentations
• Assist with social media needs for clients and divisions
• Travel will be required
