Office Manager - San Diego

As a member of our Office Management team, you'll direct and monitor daily operations at our San Diego location. This role will allow you to be the face of our company for internal and external parties (i.e., customers, vendors, building management, prospective employees)! We're seeking an Office Manager to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods!

What you'll do:

• Receive guests, deliveries, and packages, and review incoming mail to determine if it requires attention from other departments
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment
• Develop, promote, and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with departments throughout the organization, especially Recruiting, HR, Marketing, Finance, and IT
• Liaise with building management, security, cleaning services, movers, and vendors to maintain office upkeep and manage maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed
• Serve as point person for internal events, interviews, meetings, conferences, and more, in the San Diego office (i.e., conference room scheduling, scheduling logistics, catering, etc.)
• Budget and execute a regular weekly food program
• Manage inventory of office snacks, beverages, supplies, tools, furniture, etc.
• Plan, budget, book, and execute extensive office Quality of Life initiatives, including office-wide entertainment, team-building events (internal and external), holiday parties, and wellness day services
• Coordinate with Corporate Social Responsibility to strategize and implement Quality of Life improvement projects in the San Diego office
• Exercise judgment in answering various inquiries, scheduling meetings, conveying information, resolving problems, and directing people to the proper personnel or department for resolution of issues

What you'll need:

• GSuite proficiency
• Comfort lifting heavy packages
• We'd prefer to hire someone with three to five years of office management experience

Estimated base salary range: $70,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
