This is a hybrid position. There are flexible work from home options available. A member of our recruitment team will discuss the options with you in more detail.

This position reports to the Head of the Operation Control Department and enhance the Operation Risk/Operation Incident Management in Operation departments in US offices and will liaise with Head Office (Tokyo) and MUFG Bank branches at all over the world for various aspects such as operation related project execution, incident reporting etcAnd also support our NOSTRO Bank reconciliation team to execute the Reconciliation operations.

• Support Operations Departments in MUFG Bank to enhance the Operation Quality/reduce the operation risks and Business Continuity planning & execution.
• Execute the Trouble-shooting on Operational Incidents and Information leakage incidents (=find out the root causes, set up the effective countermeasures, and report the appropriate reporting).
• Educate and motivate all Operation department staffs to escalate the issues/incident to management and analyze the cause of the incident, set up the counter measures.
• Work as a Liaison Officer between Operation department in US and all MUFG bank branches/Head Office Tokyo, work out the solutions and suggestions to the inquiries/requirements made by Front Office in US/MUFG Branches/Head Office
• Manage NOSTRO/VOSTRO accounts and support NOSTRO Reconciliation operation.
• Execute Ad-hoc project and assignment from Head of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years in operation / operation planning.
• 2 + years in Business Analysis / Project Management role.
• Strong MS Office experience including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze operational risk and operations incidents.
• Ability to deliver most appropriate solutions to reduce the operation risks thorough analysis of risk, cost and efficiency of banking operations.
• Ability to manage and execute assigned Project as Project Manager.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Japanese/English Bilingual (speaking/written) is preferable.
