About Packsize Now

Packsize Now is a fast-growing pioneer in the On-Demand Packaging space. Our parent company, Packsize, supplies industry leaders including Walmart, Andersen Windows, and DICK's Sporting Goods by installing equipment that customers use on-site to produce right-sized packaging. Packsize Now uses that same technology to support local and regional customers, producing and delivering boxes on demand, allowing our customers to minimize their storage space and improve their shipping and process flow.

***Hourly rate starts between $20.00-$26.00/hr. depending on shift and experience.

About the Role

We are seeking individuals who can perform the following tasks: become an expert at operating Packsize equipment, delivering orders to customers, and operating a forklift in the warehouse. What You'll Do

• Operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner, showing an aptitude for high quality work and problem solving.
• Excellent time management, managing a schedule and producing orders on time as needed.
• Warehouse management including operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management.
• Drive a Sprinter van and 26 foot box truck, delivering orders within 150 miles of Elgin, IL location as needed.
• Courteous and professional interactions with customers on the phone and during will- call / delivery.
• Lead, train, and supervise other operators and drivers.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required, BS/BA in related discipline is preferred
• 1+ years of production and/or management experience preferred
• DOT Medical Exam and Commercial Vehicle Certification provided (Candidates must pass prior to starting deliveries)
• Preferred delivery experience
• Preferred forklift experience

Other Qualifications:

• Must be a skilled problem solver with the ability to work in a rapidly growing environment
• Computer skills including use of email and other programs
• Must show a proven ability to make decisions, be a self-starter, recognize when a process is broken and then fix it in a team environment
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 40 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, etc. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
