The role:
Ticketmaster is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager and Event Specialist to join our Marketplace Support team. You're a natural born collaborator, and enjoy working with a variety of teams, to gather information and work towards common goals.
The Operations Project Manager, Sponsorship role is an exciting position that sits on the cutting edge of support for Ticketmaster's sponsorship portfolio of 130+ clients in the US/CAN.
- This role supports a variety of clients including but not limited to:
- Major Sports (MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL)
- College Sports
- Other Sponsorship clients
- Event management tasks to support sponsorship and special projects initiatives
- Consultation on secondary market support
- Participate in Client Meetings
- Establish and maintain cross-team, internal/external relationships
- Refine and improve process and procedure
The Operation Project Manager, Sponsorship will primarily oversee and manage the creation, delivery, and QA of ticket links to Clients, to support Ticketmaster sponsorship asset activation. Requirements include interaction with Event Marketplace and Partnership Marketing teams to support link activation efforts.
This role will also have direct interaction with 130+ of Ticketmaster's Sponsorship Clients, to support QA and management of ticket links. This will include communication in a timely manner through email, and conference calls.
What the job is:
Reporting into the Manager, Marketplace Support, this role will work across various lines of business and will serve as an individual contributor charged with:
- Primarily responsible for the creation, delivery, and QA of ticket links to Clients, to support Ticketmaster sponsorship asset activation.
- Partner with Client Directors, Partnership Marketing team, and Marketplace Support teams to ensure seamless activation of ticket links during key sales cycles including Schedule Release, Onsales, Playoffs, etc.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure Client channel links are delivered on time
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintain and refine process while researching and resolving problems
- Where needed, create and maintain documentation on programs
What a qualified candidate should possess:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired.
- Must have minimum of 2 years Event Programming experience.

- Proven problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and generate creative solutions
- Must be able to have topic related discussions with each of the groups you work with, understanding the results of those conversations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
Interpersonal
- Flexibility that allows effective teamwork with people at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and manage cross functional projects
Demonstrated ability to interface with Clients in a professional and clear manner
- Can work independently while working collaboratively

Technical
- Knowledge and experience with database platform, such as mySQL database
- Strong competence in Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic HTML preferred
- Functional knowledge of TM Channels: ticketmaster.com, livenation.com, TM One; TM One Events, TM One Reporting.
