The Operations Specialist creates and maintains positive and effective working relationships with transportation providers, Modivcare departments, and other related agencies to establish superior partnerships and to reduce and resolve instances of discontent. The OS functions as liaison within the non-emergency medical transportation (NET) system for clients, members and case managers by providing
in-service guidance between Modivcare and Transportation Providers acting as Ombudsman in resolving and mediating disputes that arise from service.

You will...
- Develop and maintain positive working relations with the transportation providers and Modivcare staff
- Maintain constant and thorough communication with Operations Leadership to maximize the effectiveness of the team
- Evaluate complaints from transportation providers or Modivcare staff and maintain complaint resolution database on daily basis; share database with Director of Transportation
- Establish a timeframe for appropriate responses to issues raised by transportation providers or Modivcare staff
- Support Modivcare staff and attend meetings with the transportation provider and Modivcare as needed
- Act as a source expert on how to reach and communicate with appropriate Modivcare departments
- Communicate with the complainant concerning issues referred to Modivcare by the transportation provider or Modivcare staff
- Negotiate, conciliate and create solutions to providers' complaints and concerns
- Ensure and maintain follow up contact with both Modivcare staff and provider following resolution of an issue to ensure it remains solved
- Identify areas for improvement without fear of repercussion
- Update Operations Leadership on outcome of his/her communications with the transportation providers and members and keep the team apprised of the progress and outcomes.
- Provide assistance to claims processors with difficult issues
- Attend all required meetings
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Meet with management to discuss training/workflow issues
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED
- Required: 1 year prior claims or transportation experience with customer service and data entry
- Preferred: 3 years provider relations experience to include conflict resolution in a transportation department
