Job Description

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with an Active Secret Clearance to support our US Army client. The Oracle DBA will be expected to:

• Provide maintenance, enhancement, and support of an enterprise portal
• Document and execute technical change and configuration management processes
• Responsible for the technology environment management function supporting the design, build, test, implementation, and environment support for production and development of enterprise portals solutions and associated application components
• Support the development of web based applications and support the development of website concept, interface design, and architecture of the web-site
• Support application developers, functional business specialists, and trading partners to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
• Adhere to all security guidelines and procedures

Work Schedule & Location

This is a remote position. Hours based on the client.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Security+ Certification
• 7 years Oracle database administration experience

• Experience with MS SQL Server
• Experience with programming languages: SQL, PL SQL, KSH (KornShell), CSH (C-shell), and PERL
• Expert with Oracle products and functionality: Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), Data Guard, Oracle RAC, Oracle Automated Storage Management (ASM), Oracle Advanced Security Option (ASO), Transparent data encryption, Oracle Virtual Machine (VM), Oracle Partitioning, SQL Loader, FAST recovery area, Oracle http server, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), and performance and tuning packs
• Experience with database management tools: Control-M, MySQL, Erwin, TOAD, Net Backup, SQL designer, and script distribution methods (Rdist)
• Experience with Sun cluster, Unix, Oracle Linux, Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
