Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

GCyber is hiring an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of Oracle Databases supporting highly sensitive, mission critical operations.

As the Oracle Database Administrator, you will: 

• Managing Oracle Databases in both Windows and Linux environments including installation, configuration, and data migration
• Working with and managing Oracle Identity and Access Manager suite.
• Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, security, backups, and data recovery.
• Installing, patching, maintaining, and monitoring Oracle databases
• Create and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries and shell scripts
• Providing maintenance support for database systems.
• Data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Perform routine security and authentication measures

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Must have experience using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and SQL
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)

This position is 100% on site at our customer’s location in Arlington, VA.
