The MedStar Orthopaedic Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center is currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained Traumatologist to join our practice.
Come join our expanding multi-specialty practice with over 50 other Orthopaedic Surgeons located throughout the DC region. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is the largest academic Level 1 trauma center in Washington, D.C. and is part of the MedStar Network, the largest health system in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The compensation package is competitive with an initial income guarantee and opportunity to earn additional call pay, quality bonus and RVU incentive. The position will work with both medical student and resident and the candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
In addition to having demonstrable core competencies in orthopaedic traumatology, the ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well within a highly collaborative team, proficiency to maintain excellent clinical documentation, an understanding of patient safety, and high reliability in patient care.
Requirements:
- Board-eligible/board-certified in Orthopaedics with a fellowship in Trauma surgery.
- Superior training, background, and interpersonal skills.

This position has a hiring range of $320,000 - $645,000.
The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
