The Role

We are currently looking to hire an outreach and marketing specialist to work with the housing department and participate in host family recruitment throughout Santa Barbara. This is a great opportunity for individuals who like interacting with people. The ideal candidate is one who is looking to improve communication skills and enhance knowledge of marketing strategies and sales techniques.

• Able to develop positive relationships with team members and members of the community 
• Communicate clearly and effectively
• Able to work as a team and also independently 
• Self-motivated 
• Creative thinker and problem solver 
• A dynamic and outgoing person 
• A person who enjoys a fun and dynamic international environment
• Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check 
• Must be available on weekends and some evenings 

This is a part-time position, 20-30 hours/week with the possible opportunity to move into a full-time role.
