Job Description
As a Package Consultant at IBM get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clientsβ business environment and achieve business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The Integration Manager is responsible for working with the various program streams within a complex program to insure that the solution is properly architected end to end to deliver a successful implementation. This position requires strong SAP product knowledge ideally in S/4HANA across multiple modules in the context of the Electronics (or similar) Manufacturing industry as well as strong managerial and communication skills. The successful candidate will have delivery experience in the manufacturing sector with an understanding of Finance Procurement and Supply chain.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the client to confirm business requirements
- Responsible for organizing and leading a cross-functional team in development of integrated business processes implementing project deliverables with an emphasis on quality productivity and consistency
- Responsible for providing technical direction and control of project personnel and for providing a framework for project planning communications reporting procedural and contractual activity
- Developing work plans managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities
- Estimating project skill requirements working with deployment to identify appropriate resources a managing their integration into the team
- Communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders
- Overall team management including regular evaluations
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience and working knowledge in key functional processes. Awareness of business activities.
Communication/Negotiation:
Exchanges information ideas and concepts. Requires negotiation to achieve coordination.
Problem Solving:
Use advanced technical knowledge to perform and apply new technical procedures to the business processes. May recommend improvements to existing technical procedures based on understanding of new technologies.
Contribution/Leadership:
Working individually or as a team member may set work priorities within well established procedures and objectives. May provide coordination of activities. Gives technical direction. Viewed as a technical expert.
Impact on Business/Scope:
Accountable for individual results and for the impact of the results on the team interrelated activities or project.
