We are looking for an innovative problem solver to join our growing Paid Media Team. The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize performance, reach, and customer acquisition within self service media platforms (SEM, Native, Display/Programmatic) to achieve our quarterly goals against revenue and gross profit. We are looking for agile individuals who have a passion for paid media and are looking for engaging challenges, with a strong background using data to drive success.  This role is an independent contributor reporting directly to the VP of Digital Media.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day campaign planning, execution, reporting, and analysis of large-scale ($500k-$1M monthly), data-driven paid media campaigns.
  • Manage your monthly Paid Media budgets ensuring meeting revenue and GPM (Gross Profit Margin) targets.
  • Learning and understanding the dynamic nature of media platforms, algorithms and trends in order to amplify your efforts and results.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for bidding, ad copy, keyword coverage, campaign structuring, targeting, creative, display network, and other facets of inventory under management.
  • Partner with Media Ops and Analytics Teams to support your plans and goals.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to further the performance of paid media, through regular performance analysis and optimizations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as design,  product, data and analytics to create and measure the impact of engaging and effective ad creative.
  • Communicate effectively to the team on reporting, results and strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in the Paid Search industry.

Skills:

  • 5-7 years experience as a high-level operator within Google Ads and/or Bing Ads
  • Experience media buying via Native/Programmatic Platforms (MSAN, Gemini/Yahoo DSP, DV360, Taboola, Outbrain or similar) successfully, at scale. 
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing Paid Search campaign management and optimizations at scale. 
  • Understanding of direct marketing creative best practices and experience optimizing for campaign performance in a calculated and methodical way (creative, ad copy, landing page)
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise managing search algorithms and leveraging technical solutions to generate meaningful results in the paid search channel.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, attribution, ads implementation, and platform integration.
  • Comprehensive subject matter expertise related to Search Engines and third-party tools (programmatic display, native and/or youtube a plus)
  • Experience developing strategy, finding solutions, and communicating results.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Suite, Google Ads and Bing Ads

The salary for this role is up to $90,000-$120,000 per year. Pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
