Parcel Truck Loader (1st Shift)

Position Description

Job Summary

• Ensuring outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage

• Providing feedback to supervision for orders that do not meet "Best Practices" standards (example: wrong size box used, box too heavy, etc.)

• Accurate processing and shipping of product

• Meeting standards of safety, security, and productivity

• Verification of Order information & processing or orders for shipment

• Loading orders onto trailers with RC that are ready for shipment

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly

• Ability and/or knowledge of various processing functions or willingness to learn

• Ability to support DC Operations by performing operational tasks including truck loading in addition to processing or willingness to learn

• Familiarity with RF equipment and JDA preferred

• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently, up to 50 pounds occasionally

• Ability to follow directions

• Must display a high level of accuracy, initiative, and dependability with a good attendance record

• Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment

• No current disciplinary final warnings on file

• Must be able to operate an RC or be willing to be successfully certified
