About You 

Under the direction and leadership of Store Management, goop Stock/Operations Associates are responsible for providing exceptional service by meeting their individual store's needs and expectations. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years experience with a proven ability to drive and exceed both individual and store results.  

About The Role 

The Stock/Operations Associate will support goop Store Management in the operation of a profitable and service minded shop by owning all back and front of house operational functions. This includes, but is not limited to: processing deliveries of inbound/outbound stock, inventory management, quality control, stock room organization, managing rotation numbers/cataloging system, and assisting the Sales team as necessary. 

  Responsibilities Include:

  • Understand and executes all store operations, policies, and procedures in reference to inventory management 
  • Assist sales associates in locating stock, sizing information, etc. to help promote sales 
  • Maintain the stock room in an organized, clean, user-friendly manner with the correct rotation numbers and sizing guides 
  • Handles entire process of receiving shipments 
  • Perform stock checks 
  • Manage stock discrepancies 
  • Manage flow of stock in and out of the stock room 
  • Utilize programs to manage inventory levels 
  • Check new arrivals for defectives, checks merchandise that is returned from selling floor for discrepancies, damages, etc. 

Qualifications & Experience  

  • 1+ years of experience in stock or similar role 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications 
  • Maintain organization in the stock room 
  • Experience in luxury retail and/or high end retail environment a plus 
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills 
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills 
  • Strong follow up, follow through and attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including blackout periods during holidays, overnights, and weekends

  • Type of Hire: This is a Part-Time, Staff, Non-Exempt position. Other candidates, consultants and placement agency candidates will not be considered.
