The Role:
Halcyon is passionately committed to forging an innovative anti-ransomware solution, pushing the boundaries of what a security product can accomplish in the contemporary cyber threat landscape. With this in mind, we are seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to fill a vital role, necessitating a complex blend of customer facing capabilities and technical integrations engineering work to build our channel ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating with Managed Services/Security Providers (”MSP/MSSPs”) , Value Added Resellers (“VARs”), and Managed Detection and Response (“MDR”) companies to equip them with the integration and technical support possible to scale their business with Halcyon’s anti-ransomware software. This includes strong technical knowledge of integrations and data engineering as well as being able to communicate effectively to channel partners, sales teams, and internal business partners at Halcyon.
The goal is to drive channel adoption of our software with integrated solutions into scaleable and repeatable processes to provide ease of use to multi-tenant customers.
Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Halcyon Field Sales team and partners to to develop a healthy net new pipeline

Skillfully deliver technical demonstrations to present Halcyon value proposition, vision and technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to partners including executives, technical management, and technical engineers

Lead the technical engagement to drive channel opportunities to closure. This may involve assessing current customer environments and growth plans, delivering technical workshops, demos, and proofs-of-concept, organizing reference calls, establishing multi-year roadmaps, completing solution designs, contributing to RFI/RPF responses, and more.

Directly interact with channel partners to identify the target use-cases, and then manage the project to complete the integration

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot integration between various software components by developing or optimizing existing code, automating, and integrating data transfer

Serve as technical lead to manage and drive best practices for enterprise architecture

Talking to channel representatives at management or developer level with confidence
-
Work with cross-functional internal teams: Business Development, Legal, Deal Desk, Product Management & Marketing to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles and exceed team goals

Provide consistent field reporting, and data input via Salesforce
-
Ability to meet or exceed Quarterly and Annual quotas consistently
-
Accurate forecast for weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences
-
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience with Linux Server and/or Windows Server administration
-
3-5 years of hands-on expertise with product integration and applicable scripting experience, (languages such as Python, PowerShell, Golang, Rust) to create and maintain scripts.

Prior experience with application servers such as IIS, JBoss, or tomcat
-
Demonstrated experience utilizing networking concepts
-
Advanced capability to debug and troubleshoot applications and connection issues
-
Working knowledge and the ability to integrate the following formats and languages: XML/JSON, JavaScript, flat file documents, API’s, Web Services, EDI, ETL and related interfacing methods

Extensive knowledge and experiences in all the phase levels: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and migration as well as monitoring and support on a large number of systems

Good understanding of data relationships for reporting, data management, and integrations
General Skills and Qualifications:

Experience as a Technical Sales/Solutions Engineer or Integrations Engineer

Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration
-
Ability to independently and efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose and implement solutions
-
Demonstrates attention to detail and strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage a varied workload
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
-
Experience with executing software and/or network projects through the complete engineering process.

Experience documenting and automating repetitive tasks and playbooks
Bonus Skills and Qualifications: Additional skills and qualifications that may apply

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or PowerShell DSC

Ability and expertise in writing and executing SQL statements

Experience with code repository tools
