Job Overview

The Payment Aging Representative role will be responsible for tasks related to daily payment enablement on behalf of our customers, onboarding of new Buyers/Suppliers, and check follow up for checks. This includes achieving assigned daily quotas and quality metrics, educating our new Buyers/Suppliers on our program/services, and completing tasks to resolve outstanding checks prior to expiration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining a prominent level of professionalism with suppliers in all communication to ensure payments are processed within designated Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Successfully meet/exceed minimum monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by successfully meeting/exceeding our Quality Assurance expectations and other Key Performance Indicators
  • Operate in an autonomous environment where decisions regarding our people, processes and/or programs will impact the financial business
  • Assess and resolve payments to completion documenting each attempt in Salesforce

Experience and Qualification

Required Experience, Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 0-1+ years of Customer Service or Accounts Payables Experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone contact handling skills and active listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Internet Explorer
  • Customer focused and solution-oriented problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt/respond to diverse types of personalities, situations, and frequent process changes
  • Exhibit patience with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a dedicated work ethic
  • Highly detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Familiarity with AvidXchange product offerings; desired but not required
  • Successfully demonstrate the ability to prioritize, research and problem solve
