Individuals will be the lead engineers for a large-scale ecommerce type applications who will be responsible for an end-to-end understanding of the architecture & design of the payment and merchant platforms. The candidate will also be focusing on developing the next generation applications' architecture, data replication strategies and data center strategy. The position will also guide the response to critical issues, including root cause analysis as well as mitigate future risks to the environment. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Works under minimal supervision.

Pay and benefits information
Colorado pay range:
$101,500 - $157,700 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.

Other responsibilities Includes
- Perform design reviews and enforce architecture standards.
- Recommend improvements to the architecture/design to improve the performance and resiliency of the environment
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and perform cost-benefit analysis for recommended/selected products
- Load and performance tests planning and analysis
- Develop detailed technical documentation that supports applications and systems
- Enhance and remove redundant processes with automation to increase efficiency and reliability
Required Job Skills
- Large scale multi-tier eCommerce type applications design for stability, resiliency and performance
- Distributed cache deployment and configuration
- Deep knowledge of Web technologies such as webservers and app servers
- Proficient with Linux platform
- Strong experience with TCP/IP networks technologies
- Good understanding of Java, C# .Net, C++ or similar
- Good understanding of Spunk, ELK or other log aggregation tool for triage and data analytics
