Lincoln Electric is seeking a Payroll Analyst for our Euclid, Ohio headquarters. The Payroll Analyst directly participates in day-to-day payroll processing and related activities for Lincoln Electric’s US-based employees. Ā Strong project management skills are critical to the timely achievement of recurring and periodic deadlines while maintaining appropriate internal and quality controls.

What You Will Do

Ā 

The Payroll Analyst participates in processing payroll for hourly and salary employees representing multiple locations and subsidiaries. More specifically, this role will:Ā 

  • ParticipateĀ in year-end processes, including W-2 production
  • ParticipateĀ in various payroll and benefits projects, including acquisitions.
  • Collaborate wellĀ and coordinates with various stakeholders, including Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Legal, and Accounting throughout the year.
  • AssistĀ in the resolution of employee time, pay, benefit deduction, and compensation change issues.
  • PromoteĀ a robust internal control environment compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements through the documentation of processes and identification and implementation of process improvements.
  • AssumeĀ additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
  • BecomeĀ proficient in ADP Vantage.
  • PrepareĀ various analyses upon request.
  • RemainĀ current with applicable tax, unemployment, and other payroll laws and regulations.

Education & Experience Required

Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience required
  • Experience with payroll practices with ability to research laws and regulations
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to meet all deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Ideal candidate should have experienceĀ in processing payroll for a minimum of 2,000 employees
  • Developed communications and writing skills
  • Demonstrate advanced computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.

Preferred

  • Experience with ADP VantageĀ 
  • Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, and Fidelity (Benefits)Ā 
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) and/or FDP (Fundamental Payroll Certification), preferred but not required
