This position provides the opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist, an autonomous role responsible for the accurate and timely End to End-Monthly Payroll processing for a number of different geographical regions. 

Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:

• Calculations of terminations/redundancies

• Superannuation – reconciliation and payment

• Payroll tax/workers compensation – reconciliation and payment

• Reconcile and make payment of taxes/pensions to various government bodies

• Health Insurance - reconciliation and payment

• Leave Management and monthly reconciliation incl Maternity/Paternity

• Monthly Journal preparation

• Responding to payroll queries via email

• Maintaining and updating employee details

• Year End Payroll reconciliation and point of contact for queries

• Assisting with Auditor requests

• Adhoc duties as required 

 What you will bring:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll environment 

• Meticulous attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy 

• Understanding of payroll compliance including wage theft 

• Familiarity with taxation & superannuation legislation 

• Intermediate skills in MS Excel 

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy legislation in relation to staff and business information 

• Ability to work to tight deadlines 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team with shared responsibility as well as autonomously 

• Global payroll experience would be an advantage
