PCB Engineer

Your role:

In R&D within the Hardware team made up of 15 people, you will be in charge of the design of the PCB in the pre-development, development and evolution phase of our products. Depending on the size of the project, you will be required to manage PCB designers.

Your main missions:

• Actively contribute to our technical Roadmaps, taking into account the standardization of our design rules and our strategy,

• Advise and share knowledge internally, help arbitrate choices in technical projects,

• You will be a force of proposal for the technological choices relating to the PCB (materials, stacking of layers) as well as on the architecture of our products,

• Collaborate with the development team (electronics/mechanics/industrialization)

• You are responsible for the proper functioning of the electronic CAD environment within the design office,

• Manage internal and external PCB designers,

• Creation of schematic and PCB prints in the database following our internal rules

• Carry out the placement and routing of electronic cards (digital and analog type with high current) taking into account all the key EMC parameters, our design rules as well as our industrialization constraints,

• Creation of PCB/PCBA manufacturing files and distribution through PLM tools

• You are the contact for the prototype manufacturers (PCB/PCBA) for the technical aspect of manufacturing the cards

• Participate in the development and maintenance of our products

• Participate in our digital transformation by working closely with engineers working on multiphysics simulation.

Qualifications

You are :

• Min B.Tech in electronics and you have at least 5 years of experience in PCB design.

And you have:

• Significant experience in electronic circuit routing placement

• Knowledge of electronics (power, analog, digital) to ensure efficient card routing,

• Knowledge of CEM applied to the layout of electronic cards,

• Knowledge of IPC norms and standards for PCB design,

• Knowledge of PCB technology,

• Knowledge of signal integrity is a plus,

• Solid knowledge of Cadence Allegro design tools preferred,

• Good organization and ability to manage several tasks in parallel,

• An ability to manage a team of PCB designers,

• An analytical mind, flexibility and the ability to act independently and under your own responsibility,

• An ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, with multiple nationalities,

• Mastery of technical English, French language is a plus
